The Mission…
The Blue 5 expedition has launched in Seychelles. We are documenting marine wildlife, gathering scientific data, contributing to environmental education and showcasing the country’s world-class marine ecotourism.
Our Story
The Danny Faure Foundation, Cat Cocos, and Blue Safari are key supporters of the Blue 5 expedition in Seychelles, working alongside partners including the Marine Conservation Society Seychelles and the University of Seychelles. The initiative brings together leading voices in ocean conservation such as Ocean Ramsey and Juan Oliphant, in partnership with accomplished Seychellois conservationists.
Launched by 15+ Emmy Award–winning filmmaker and National Geographic Photographer and Explorer Filipe DeAndrade, the expedition unites filmmakers, scientists, and conservation leaders to document marine ecosystems while building a global platform for ocean conservation, storytelling, and sustainable economic opportunity.
